Covid positivity rate at 5.6 percent

The 14-day positivity rate for Covid-19 testing in Greene County is at 5.6 percent as of Tuesday morning, Feb. 2.

The total number of Covid-19 cases in the county is 741. There have been three new cases in the last 24 hours, three in the last three days, 11 in the last seven days, and 21 new cases in the last 14 days. Of the total, 89 are active cases. Eight Greene County residents have died from Covid-19.

Breakdown for age groups for Greene County positive cases is as follows:

  • 0-18 years: 15 percent
  • 19-39 years: 30 percent
  • 40-59 years: 31 percent
  • 60-74 years: 20 percent
  • 80 and older: 4 percent
